Rod composed for Sega’s exciting new thriller Alpha Protocol and collaborated with world reknown recording artist/producer BT who composed the Alpha Protocol main theme. Many of the tracks were recorded live with the Northwest Symphonia at the Bastyr Chapel in Seattle. Obsidian will take you on a journey they hope will meld the aura of the three JBs – Jason Bourne, Jack Bauer and James Bond. Players take on the role of Michael Thorton, a special agent who has been betrayed by his superiors and hunted by his own country for perhaps knowing too much. Available for the PC, PLAYSTATION 3, and Xbox 360 in spring 2010.

Rod is proud of his involvement in the award winning DEAD SPACE game. Rod says, “Beginning with the fabulous live recording sessions at Skywalker to the 2009 BAFTA ‘Best Original Score’, the 2009 Game Audio Network Guild’s ‘Audio Of The Year’ award, and the Game Developer’s Choice Award for ‘Best Audio’, I’ve enjoyed watching Don Veca and the entire EA audio team accept the awards with well deserved pride.”

Wheelman is coming in 2009

Rod and Rednote created scores for The Wheelman being developed by Tigon Studios U.K. and Midway Games. The game takes place in Barcelona, and the developers at Midway’s Newcastle studio are really focused on making this the ultimate car-chase game. Gamer-actor Vin Diesel will star in the “entertainment property” that will manifest itself as an MTV/Paramount film and a next-gen Midway game in spring 2009.
